Ways to Help
Tutor a K–12 Student
Help a refugee student strengthen academic skills, complete schoolwork, practice English, and build confidence.
Tutor an Adult in English
Work one-on-one with an adult learner to improve conversational English and develop language skills for everyday life.
Transport Women to and From the Moms Support Group
Provide safe, reliable transportation so refugee women can participate in the Moms Support Group.
Provide Childcare During the Moms Support Group
Watch and engage children in a safe, welcoming environment while their mothers participate in the group.
Deliver Diapers to Refugee Families
Pick up and deliver diapers to local refugee families through our partnership with the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank.
Deliver Meals to the Peter & Paul Community Services Shelter
Help deliver meals made by women in our chef training program to individuals experiencing homelessness at the shelter.
Volunteer with the START Teen Program
Middle and high school students can volunteer through START—St. Louis Teens Aid Refugees Today—and participate in service projects and activities that support and welcome refugee youth.
Drive for the Moms and Preschool Program
Help mothers and their young children attend our program by providing dependable transportation to and from program activities.
